The fact that you can't make the commitment leads me to wonder if this person is the one for you. I have friend who's boyfriend kept doing the same thing to her and let me tell you, it hurts. Even if there is a good reason, it's not fair to the other person. Then again, it also depends on your age. If you're a teen or young adult, then it's perfectly normal to be like that. If you're older, then it might be time to go out there and find the person that makes you want to commit.

looks like if the other party wants a commitment and you do not that you aren't going to have a love life at this point.
one day if you are ready and willing to make a commitment you might have a love life.
