I have had my shitzu for about 3 yrs now she started having these weird random attacks about 2 years ago it's almost like she is drunk she stumbles around and can't focus and shakes my shitzu hasn't had a spell in awhile. On the other hand I just got a little sleeve pekingese puppy and this morning I noticed that she was doing the same thing my shitzu does with the wobbling and the shaking and then after a few seconds she is fine just like my shitzu! I am going out of my mind thinking that there is something somehow that I did that caused this, something I used to clean with or I don't know what to do, the vet told me with my shitzu that it could be nerological but how could I possibly get two dogs with that same problem. Someone help me please I am freaking out!

if you took them to the vet for possible seizures/epilepsy then the vet should have given you a prescription for phenobarbital or something of the like. since ALL of your dogs are doing this it is possible you have been using a toxic cleaner, I suggest you immediately switch to Simple Green which is also safe enough to use around birds...certainly its safe for dogs as well. Keep in mind your dogs are little, that means they are closer to the floor and whatever your using to clean the floors. theres thousands of safe floor cleaning recipes on the internet.
also it might be possible that your buying your pups from a backyard breeder and/or puppy mill. they only breed poor quality and sickly animals. look into it.

If your pekingnese is a puppy then it is very possible it is having a low blood sugar attack which is not uncommon in very small dogs. I would give the puppy some honey on its tongue or syrup or keep some sugar water mixed up to put in its mouth if you notice this. I woudl also contact the dogs breeder immediately and ask for their insight since they should have some insight that you as an owner would not. It goes without saying that if you are going to keep this dog you need to take it to the vet so you can plan a long term treatment of its problems, diabetic dogs may eventually end up having to have insulin shots a couple of times a day

Since both are having seizures, its most likely caused by something in their environment. What are you feeding them? Do they have access to any toxic chemicals? What do you use to clean your house? I've seen the same thing with 3 differnet puppies from the same house, and it turns out they were eating fertilizer from their backyard and it was poisoning them. Just look around and see if theres anything toxic your dogs are getting into.
