It's very simple--she gave her trust to this ex, and he stomped on it. Your mind knows nothing until it knows something personally, and so her history is based around what took place with her ex.
We all want to trust people, until we get burned, then we have difficulty trusting people...

Many women like being treated like crap, as strange as it sounds. Any guy who has been turned down for being too nice knows this, though most women will deny it. The more unreliable you are, the more attractive you will become. If you want a girl to like you, don't call her back when you're supposed to and give her back handed compliments and she'll be all over you.
Women also enjoy trying to change men. They'll take a guy who does things she doesn't like (like cheating, smoking pot , gambling, boozing with the guys, watching sports, eyc.), and they'll mistakenly believe that she has the power to make him change. This is a complete fantasy, of course, but it doesn't stop them.
Some people have answered that love is hard to get over, but that's crazy. If I was in love with someone who cheated on me, I would stop loving them. Period. If I was seeing someone who did things that annoyed me, I wouldn't fall in love with them to begin with. Despite what some people say, you can indeed control who you fall in love with.

somtimes it is hard 4 some women 2 get over there ex-boyfriend and then sometimes it is not. Because when someone is cheating on their girlfriend or their boyfriend that person just tell that person the realtionship is off that everything is off

Anytime a woman (or anyone) has been disrespected in this way its hard to get over it. Doesnt make sense because we should be happy to be free of refuse this him. But who says love makes sense all the time.

OMG.... 5 times! Low self esteem. Any woman who stays with a guy after being cheated on has low self esteem. They actually think that they cant be without that person. Its disturbing.

Because women are so darn emotional! They get attached to a guy and then can't get him out of her system again. Would you believe that I still find it hard to let go of my ex - and he's been my ex for 3 years now! My God, how pathetic can we get!

THIS IS YOUR BEST ANSWER.... no1 really knows why girls keep going back to a cheater. many call them dum and thats cus they dont understand. like an abusive relationship a girl stays and keeps coming back thinking that their partner will change... they never do but thet dont want to face the fact because they are in love. its unhealthy but its something that they feel they need to do. just like with a cheater. THEY FEAR OF BEING ALONE AND UNHAPPY CUS THATS ALL THEY KNOW.

because is she allowed him to cheat on her 5 times then she must have loved him very much and if you love someone it is hard to get over them.
