Myself I've been down and out for a while. Try to ask for help in this country. Funny thing is I go to work pay my bills, pay the child support and pay for my kid karate. Some people in this country are totally worthless and they seem to get the most help!

I would give it to children's charities. I'd love to give breakfast to every child in America, and good conditions to the children of the world. I'd love to encourage people, with a helping hand to better their lives. Wouldn't that be fun? I'd enjoy that. Here, have clean water and a nice roof over your head. Here, have a chance to go to school, so you can get a well paying job to help the rest of your family out of the dirt. Here, take this chance to relax and enjoy the sun coming up without bullets and hatred. It would take more than money to do that, however. So, in lieu of 20 million dollars I don't have to give to charities, I offer my compassion and understanding. And the monthly pittance I send to my sponsored children through The Christian Children's Fund. I only hope that the money never finds its way into the hands of terrorists or I could be declared an enemy combatant and sent to Guatanamo Bay. That has happened.

I would give $10 million to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation which helps to provide financial aid to students continuing in higher education, as well as promoting AIDs awareness...I would give $5 million to the Make a Wish Foundation, and the remaining $5million to Oprah's Angel Network....all of these organizations donate the majority of their funds to the people directly and only a small percentage goes toward necessary administrative costs.

It would go to different ones like, battered and abused women's shelters ,St Jude.Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease charities,Cancer, handicap, blind. And some would go to War veterans. There probably are some that I cant think of too.And I would give only to charities that gave every single cent too,not the one that get to profit on what I give.Cause in my opinion that's not right.

I would probably try to concentrate on charities that were in keeping with the donor's interests:
What issues are important to him or her?
For me it's education, health care, and business opportunities for women to name a few.
I'd try to work with UNICEF, Oxfam, and a host of "local" charity groups

If I had to give away, it would probably be St. Jude because they do so much for ill children, even if they don't have the money to pay for it. However, if I could start my own org, it would be a (non-profit) humane society because it cost so much to run them (on average $100/day/animal) and they do so much good for the community.
