Why would I want to give up carbon emissions? Will you carry me on your back to work? Ha!

How do you expect to do that? Are you going to hold your breath until Easter?

Carbon emissions don't only come from cars. They come from all aspects of life. That includes exhaling carbon dioxide.

I've never owned a car so I've never emitted any carbon to damage the environment. That should count as a karmic plus point for me.
