Everything you mentioned is great but the truth of the matter is everybody at one point or another or more gets turned down. It's not fun, but it is humbling, and maybe thats what you needed.

It may be that she wants a guy who's hung up on her, not himself. Or, it could be that you're just not her cup of tea. Since you're a freshman, you might as well learn this lesson now: No matter how cool you think you are, how fine you are, how much money you have, or how smart you are, not every girl is going to choose you. This is the way it is in life. Some girls are going to chase you and others won't waste their time. Some will think you're the bomb, while others will laugh in your face. You're not going to appeal to every girl, so get over it.
One more thing: No matter how cool you are; If you have to brag about it, it ain't happenin'.

attraction is not about stats. it is about personality and chemistry and particular physical features.
you should know this, and if you don't, you will find out some day.
and let me let you in on a secret. life is full of rejection. it's going to happen a lot, no matter what you look like, how much money you have, who your friends are, etc. it is best if you just make peace with that right now. don't base your life or self-esteem around those rejections.... just do what you gotta do to make yourself happy and regretless, and take those rejections as just **** that happens.
the girl was hitting on you because it was fun and she wanted attention. there is nothing wrong with that, everybody does that from time to time, probably you do too (or should). at least she was honest with you when you wanted to get serious.

Nothing wrong with you honey, you sound like a nice kid. Just be patient. Make some guy friends to hang out with first, once the girls see you around more outside of school, the will get interested.

Honestly I probably would say no to you as well. Not all girls are into jocks. Everyone has their preferences.... I happen to like guys who read! It's no big deal, I'm sure you will find someone who is into you. You just can't have everything that you want, and that's life.

just from what you said here it sounds like you are a little stuck on yourself...JV bball, baseball with scouts dogging you to go to college, your strength, your family's wealth...........
try talking to people and listen to them and not list your life like they should be knocking down your door
you are a freshman...so you have years to practice how to talk to people and get to know each other...
dates will come when the time is right
be cool...

it sounds to me like your a very kind, fun, loving person that eveyone can get along with. but it sounds like you are one of thoese popular people who brag all the time. you may be cocky, however, three months may seam like a long time to you but she is prob. not over ther x boyfirend yet. girls need alot of time to rebound form somthing that was serious it could take longer. just hang in there still talk to her mabey she just isent 100% ready for a new relationship yet. hang in there

First of all, don't think there is anything wrong with you. It doesn't always depend on what you like to do or where you live to get a girl's attention. It depends mostly on how approachable, outgoing and friendly you are.
