If you mean the judeo-christian god, we can learn how NOT to be like him.
How not to be duplicitous- telling people murder is a sin, then commanding them to commit genocide all over the place.

How not to treat children- killing four children for laughing at a prophet's bald head.

how not to treat women- geez this one alone could take all day.

I could go on, but you get my point.

Jesus speaking....."except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

Jesus speaking....."Except ye repent ye shall all likewise perish".

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Words to live joyously, and die peacefully by!

I think the best lesson God continually teaches mankind is that God doesn't care what we do, therefore we better care because it's up to us, collectively and individually to live our lives.

The common definition of a fool is -- One who does not exercise his reason; one who pursues a course contrary to the dictates of wisdom. However, our focus I not going to be on fools, by this definition. There are many wise people who are steeped in the worlds wisdom, and yet are fools biblically speaking.

I remind you that there are two sources of wisdom. There is wisdom from above (God’s wisdom) and wisdom from beneath (worldly or the devil’s wisdom) as noted in James 3:15-17.

Mr. Nolte,
Living in eternity doesn't do anything for you? You are hard to please! lol

I tell you what, I wanted to kill myself before I became Christian. I call not wanting to kill myself a good thing. That's what he did for me.

But I had to trust him.

That's kind of scary for you, isn't it? Trusting God?

I'm telling you that from a post suicidal focus to having that happy ending ahead of you, every time you think of it, changes things by itself. Add the great relationship that I have with God . . . priceless!

From Biblical god we can learn to alway question and to always seek the truth through logical means. I think that the one thing the Bible ever taught me, and that is to always question.

We can learn the way He wants us to treat others. Love each other and tolerate each others differences. When we treat all others the way we want to be treated it will make us friendlier and happier.

to love everyone no matter who they are. just because someone is a sinner that doesn't mean you should shun them. invite them over and break bread with them, like God (the son) did.
