I am wondering if there is schooling involved? What is a good way to start from scratch?

Yes there is schooling involved, you can even take the course online if you wish, or you can check out if a school near you has that course. Its usually less than a year to take.
You will need patience, as well as good time management. Knowing good style and how to always have a plan B
You need to know that most brides can be really picky and you may not please them all, just do the best you can.
As well as working on a tight budget and finding great deals are at the top of that list. You will learn all of this in school. So I suggest you find a online course or a school near you to enroll as soon as you know that this is really what you want.

Schooling in certain subjects is helpful, however, not mandatory.

The main skills you need to have are organizational, detail oriented, and creativity. You must also be able to make good decisions under pressure.
