My dog is finally potty trained, but before she was she would have some accidents on the carpet. Does anyone have any good recommendations for getting the pee out of the carpet? I would like to be able to clean it myself if anyone has any secret cleaning methods...I would appreciate it!!! Thanks a millions!

Use a good pet cleaner like "Out" or any thing that they recommend for dogs. Than rent one of those steamcleaner machines at the grocery store or where ever. Mix some of the pet urine remover into the cleaning solution. Spray the rest of the "Out" all over the floor. Steam clean and let air dry.Next time you vaccum use a baking soda carpet powder to refresh and all odor will be gone forever. Not even your dog will smell it.

Good luck

I don't know about secret cleaning methods but Nature's Miracle is good for cleaning the residue of organic and pet stains. You can buy it in Walmart in the pet area or order it online I believe. Also after you clean it thoroughly with a spot cleaner, you can steam clean it yourself with a rental.

Urine-off. You can buy this product on-line for about $15.00. Urine-off breaks down the urine and completely removes the stain and the smell. If you black light the carpet you will not find the stain (however you may find others you were unaware of). Urine-off works so well that the dog will not be able to smell the urine and he/she will not use that spot again.

I wouldn't blame the dog. I am sure it was my wife Kimme. She just looks like a dog.
