Hi
Ive got my Peugeot 806 2.0 HDi 8 seater to sell.
It really is a good car and I want to sell it on eBay.
There is one slight problem though !
In most peoples eyes, a used taxi causes a frown / no-no reation.
My car was used by me for 2.5 years as a private hire vehicle doing motorway work etc.
How do I best describe that its not the usual rubbish etc?
It's been serviced every 3000 miles (not 12000) cause I look after my vehicles!
Plus its had 2 MOT tests per Year!!
Thats actually 6 MOT's in my ownership, and it never fails!!!
I always service them as if I was going to keep them forever!

The problem your always going to have is that, although you have looked after the car. It WILL have worked hard and have a higher mileage than a standard car. Private hire work is very hard on a car (I know as I used to do it) as they will have gone through more gear changes as will the engine. The interior is going to have had more abuse through larger passengers, Most people carriers carry kids which do leave sticky sweets but that at least can be valeted.

You could try the ebay route but as ebay doesn't normally attract any better prices than regular auctions I'd maybe just dump it at your local car auction.

Mark B says it all in
a nutshell.
you will have to let it go
for little money,
and cut you losses
or hold on to it and pay more
in the long run to keep it going..
