So, I've heard this before:
There are only three words in the English language that end in -gry
Two are hungry and angry. What is the third?
Is this true, and if so, does anyone know the third one?

The answer has nothing to do with words ending in gry. The third sentence tells us that the phrase "the English language" has three words in it. The third word in this phrase is "language." The fourth sentence asks us about this third word. Thus, the answer to the riddle is "language." Because of quotation marks in the printed version of the riddle, this riddle is only effective when spoken. ; )

the third could be either Hungary-as in the place- or agree, but i dont really see how agree has the ending -gry, but at least it sounds like it. plus we dont know every word in the english language, there just might be another word that ends in -gry(or it just might be that i cant really think of any word that ends in -gry right now). and if you want to know the "third word", look in a dictionary or something or ask "askjeeves" on line' they will give you something or some info on it.
P.S. i am pulooza, not jihy or whatever- i dont know how exactly to put in who i am, and the thing keeps showing ''jihy'' or something.

The -Gry Puzzle is a popular puzzle that asks for the third English word, other than "angry" and "hungry," that ends with the letters "gry." Aside from words derived from "angry" and "hungry," there is no stand-alone word ending in "gry" that is in current usage.

I read this site that there is no third word that end with "gry". I could not put the site here because it would not work. Anyway type"words that end with gry" you might find a site that will maybe help you. I'm not really sure about it yet...but i'm sure there isn't one.(unless you make up your own)

I hope i helped!

The answer could be "language". The answer could also be that there are actually obsolete words which end in 'gry'.
