We have had a stressed relationship the last couple of months mainly due to us getting pregnant unexpectedly and having our worlds turned around. Im getting a hotel for us saturday to have some personal time without the baby, our parents, and our friends. He's a manly man with a sensitive side when it comes to me. Im already getting him a six pack cause beer relaxes him, what else can I do to make him just forget about all the stress and worries he has for one day?

Just keep doing what you are doing honey. Keep showing him how much you care & how much he means to you. It's difficult for the male in a relationship to get shoved to the back burner when a newborn arrives. By taking him out & treating him you are putting the focus back on him & showing him how much he means to you. I wouldn't suggest getting him drunk though. Some words may be said which would be better left unsaid. In time, as the baby takes less than 24 hours of devotion you will both find even ground. You are on the right track. Stop worrying yourself & enjoy the time out & ALONE with your honey. Peace.

Give him a massage at the very least, that calms me down. Just try to make it a night dedicated to him, make him feel special. Watch what he wants to watch, better yet just turn on his favorite show without him even asking. Food is always the key to a man's heart, set something up so he can eat his favorite meal.

Leave him alone in the room with the beer. You sound like a good woman, but he probably needs a break from everything.
