I know that these pills are used to treat depression but do they also treat people with anxiety? And what are some of the side effects??

Wellbutrin works for depression, not anxiety. Its a mild stimulant and might actually increase it at higher doses.

I take it and have no side effects. There is no such thing as a 'happy pill' so don't expect miracles. Your friends and family will notice a positive change, when you take it, before you do. Generally, Paxil is used for anxiety.

You cannot skip dosages, and it has to build up in your bloodstream to work.............anywhere from 1 week to a month.

My husband takes it and I don't think it's helped him. I personally take Zoloft for depression, and Klonopin for anxiety. The latter is also referred to as Clonezapam. It's really helpful getting me to wind down enough to sleep, or even relax. Good luck!

my dr told me it was only for deperession and doesnt work with anxiety disorders. Paxil worked great for me but the weight gain wasnt so great so now im taking buspar. everybody is different and you just have to try things till something works right for you.
