Don't go with the ones the attach to your head... buy the clip in ones that is what i have, just look up dread falls on the internet, I got mine for 50 bucks, and I don't have to have them in all the time, they are quite a dramatic look too....

watch out..
well I haven't had fake dreads.. but I had real ones.. and I had stuff attached to mine (like my boyfriends dreads sawed together with mine, yea.. whatever.. ;).
I'll tell you that much.. unless you have a head full of hair, don't get any of that **** done, simply because it is hard on your hair, dreads, fake dreads especially are heavy!!, they'll weigh you down, tear your natural hair, and between the sections when you have them done, if you have them for a long time, your hair will start thinning.
Sorry, but if you still can, don't do it. I realize its cool and all, but you won't have it forever. I had to cut my hair, and now its like 2 yrs later, I'm still waiting for it to grow back to its previous length.
Hope that gives you a little broader scope for making your decison.
As always, good luck, and have fun whatever you decide, ok.

Well, if you keep them your hair will nat together forming a dread which will not be able to be reversed. If you want something more temporary I would suggest a kinky twist just twists that a similar but neat looking

I wonder if they are done like extenstions or weaves. Your hair is cornrowed (flat braids) and then fake hair is sewn or glued in to place creating the new style without damaging your real hair.
