Love doesn't hurt. It's a wonderfully positive emotion. However when someone we love does something that displeases us, we may choose to feel pain. That isn't love though...even though we may still love them, it's not the love that hurts, it's our choosing to be upset because of something they said or did.

Without knowing more of the details....is shouldn't hurt at all! Falling and then being in love adds a whole dimension to a being. It can be a wonderful state and a happiness that cannot be touched with what's going on in the surrounding world.

If there is something that is causing you to hurt in your relationship, then you should bring it to attention with your significant other. Have a serious talk to resolve whatever issue to eliminate that problem. If you do nothing and remain in that relationship, the pain could eventually become unbearable to handle and you will take actions you may not be pleased with.

If it's a break up, then that love will linger for a while. Losing someone you loved takes time, especially when that relationship was a lengthy one. Anything that has memories will trigger a thought which will increase that pain of missed love. Try and do things that will keep your mind off of the lost loved one. Stay away from things-places-events that you two were fond of.

Good luck and I hope that pain quickly gets resolved. =)

Love isn't suppose to hurt. But sometimes things are beyond our control. They say that being hurt makes us stronger. Most of the time love is the best thing in a persons life. So when we have good times enjoy them because one never knows when the bad times will come.

Love is what you make of it... it is not just some universal experience or emotion that makes everything better. When it hurts, it means love is a commitment binding two people together which is right. Love is the willingness to keep going even though it does hurt.

I know love hurts. But sometimes when you feel the hurt you know that you are in love. Sometimes it's the best thing in life and sometimes it's one of those days which you never wanted to be loved. Who knows what love is. Eveybody has their views on love. Some people get hurt and some people don't. Some people view love as something special, that you'll never find and some don't, some thinks vice versa. It depends what you call love. But love is all around, it makes people hurt, happy, lovable, hatred, likeness, vulnerable, heartbroken, delightful, unexperienced .....and much more...... But my view of love is that feeling that you'll never find with anybody in this world. The way your heart pounds for them. The way your ears perked when their name is being called. The times you sit by your phone waiting for them to call. The times when you hug them, kiss them. The feeling your heart crunches when you see them with someone else...the jealousy and hatred on them.....

No, it's not. Love is supposed to be the thing you can choose to add to what you already have. What really matters is individual fulfillment.

It's wonderful if they love you back, but because you're vulnrable to them they will do and say things that would hurt you more as opposed to one who you don't love. Then if you're love with one who doesn't love you back then THAT hurts.
