Under NO Circumstances would I ever slap, or hit my spouse. Unconditional love does not treat another person that way.
Anyone, who even thinks about slapping or hitting their spouse, or daughter, girlfriend or a friend definately needs to cultivate true Patience and genuine Loving-kindness.
A person that is Patiently demonstrating Lovingkindness is able to remain calm, having a stable mental peace, even in the face of harm or difficulties.
I am Buddhist, but everyone must find their way which will help them acquire a stable peace of mind, and happiness. Anyone who abuses someone else does not have a stable peace of mind, and is not Happy. Controlling others is not the means to acquire Happiness, and definately will not bring one a stable peace of mind.

Depends of what she did or didn't do. Sometimes I just like to smack her around to see her cry and beg. If its something serious like over cooking my breakfast she has more than a slap coming to her. If she would just do what she is told with out the backsass she would prolly only get 1 or 2 slaps a week.
P.S. Just kidding I am too afraid of my wife to even talk back to her. She is tiny but she could kick my ***.

I agree in most part with the answers that I would never do that, except, in the circumstance that they enjoyed it and/or it was a turn on for them. Yes, some people do enjoy this sort of activity and as long as both parties consent, it's OK.

If my hubby was cheating on me, yes, I could see myself slapping him, and quite possibly the harlot as well. If I was only suspicious, no. I would have to have proof. If I was cheating on my hubby and he found out, if he were to slap me I would feel that I deserved it as well. I'm not referring to an all out fist fight or a beat down. But a slap? Sure.
I like to slap his booty - but I have a feeling that's not what you're referring to.

Unless she was standing on train tracks and panicking while a locomotive is barring down on her...wouldn't happen. And even then, it would simply be to snap her out of it, certainly not in anger on my part.
Under no circumstances would I hit my spouse.

While I might do it, under NO circumstances would I be justified in doing so. I am responsible for my behavior even when I'm angry. And I hope that I would never do anything like that. So far, I never have, even when I had a boyfriend who was engaged in "extracurricular activities."

Probably in retaliation for a slap. She'd have to strike the first blow. 2 wrong may not make a right but damned if it don't feel good. Not that we'd ever have to worry about any of that. We're civil.
