I'd say start with 3 gallons of paint. If you need more, go back to the paint store. You do not want to buy too much because you cannot return it once it is tinted. If your walls are already painted a lighter color, you do not need a primer. Make sure you put enough paint on the roller to cover the walls with one coat of paint. The most efficient way is to load your roller with paint and make one line down your wall, then load the roller again and one line up the wall, then down, then up. Then you can blend it all in together. This makes sure you get the best coverage on your walls, and you should only need one coat.

first ..figure the square area to be covered...30ft by 8 ft = 320 sq ft. times 4 walls =1280 sq. ft...then check your cans for coverage recomendations...I find it usually takes about 25% more because I tend to put the paint on a little thicker..also whether or not the walls have been primed or painted before can make a difference... if not it will probaly take at least 50 % more

Thats roughly 1000 square feet. Just check the square footage on the can of paint and do the math.

That's 960 sq ft. I gallon of paint covers approx.200- 300 sq ft depending on the application. Example- If you use a brush and roller, you'll use more paint than if you use an airless sprayer. also primer should be used especially if you are changing the color.

depending on if you primer your wall first or not, I would say 2-3 cans. I painted 2 walls not too long ago, 8x20, and it didn't even take the whole can. The walls were a light color, so I didn't have to primer it, and one coat covered the walls.

It totally depends on the paint you buy. The side of the can will tell you precisely what square footage that brand will cover. All paints are different.

it depends on what color you are using if you are going light over dark paint you should use primer first. then that should take 2 gallons of paint I've done alot of painting over the years rolling takes more paint ....brush takes less paint more time.
