Take the dog to the vet, there is no one here who can help your dog via the internet with a question like this. She could be poisoned or have parvo or corona or coccidia or giardia. Go to the vet.

If she has been vomitting up for a long time, it could be pure bile, or has she had any access to rat poison, it's green. I would take her to a vet asap since it's Friday, it may not be serious, but you would hate to have it turn serious and she gets dehydrated over the weekend while the vets are closed, then you would wind up paying through the nose for an Emergency clinic to see her. Better to be on the safe side and go now. She doesn't sound like she is comfortable and they can give her a shot that would settle her stomach like reglan or tagamet. Also if she's been eating grass that would make her vomit green somewhat. The main thing is to hold her off food and water for 2 hours after her last vomit until the stomach stops spasming. Then start offering very small amount of water every 15-20 min. as long as it doesn't come back up, gradually increase the amount and after a couple of hours offer some very bland food like boiled chicken and rice in small amounts like the water. If vomits stop everything and start the process over waiting another 2 hours to start again. As long as there is no diarrhea involved, I wouldn't worry, that can completely dehydrate her and require hospitalization. Check her hydration by pulling up the skin on the back of her neck and letting it drop. If it stays up like a tent, she is dehydrated and needs IV fluids and a vet, if it snaps back down quickly, she is still well hydrated and should be okay. Good luck.

She may have eaten some grass or a plant\weed. This happens when my dogs sometimes eat it. Dogs sometimes eat it naturally because they like the taste or texture. Grass also soothes upset stomachs naturally. But unfortunately it also has little barbs on the blades (check under a microscope if you want to see them) which cause the reflex inside for dogs to throw it up. Though grass eating is usually harmless, you need to be careful about where your dog nibbles. Property owners and local park officials sometimes treat grassy areas with pesticides or fertilizers, some of which could be dangerous to a dog if ingested in large enough amounts.

Grass can also harbor the eggs of intestinal parasites like hookworms, whipworms, and roundworms. Shed in the feces of passing dogs, these eggs remain on grass blades even after the stoool has washed away. A dog that eats grass could ingest parasite eggs and become infected.

To wean your dog off grass, try adding a few steamed vegetables to their regular diet (avoiding onions, which in large quantities can be toxic to dogs). Steaming vetetables breaks down some of the fiber, increasing digestibility without destroying the flavor and crunch. These "veggie" attributes may well satisfy your dog's craving for grass. In conclusion, eating unusual objects can arise from a dietary deficiency, so it's a good idea to get them checked by a vet. If everything is okay medically, consider the ways stated above to discourage your dogs' eating habits.

I had a lab called Bella when I was younger. She ate grass and it made her throw up bile, but you could see the grass in the liquid. If she continues, take her to the vet- depends on how long she has been doing it and if she shows other signs of illness

This is the gastric juices that break down food. Usually it is really dark green and foul smelling if the stomach is empty. Has she eaten something you dont know about?. It could be that she has eaten something found outside or she may have an infection. I would suggest phoning the vet and ask their advice. You may need to take her in depending on what the vet says. Any other symptoms?

Dogs often eat grass if they have an upset stomach to aid them in vomiting. Dogs have no natural reflux to make them vomit. I would be concerned if it continues, it could be that she has a Gall Bladder problem. If this persist I would take her to your Vet.

Best of Luck!!

Yes! Take her to the vet. Green liquid is bile, that means that she is throwing up stuff from her intestines, that is really bad!
