I believe South beach is the better diet. Although you'd lose more and faster with Atkins, I am not joking when I say that once you're off the plan you'll gain back weight and then some. And I don't mean going back to the way you used to eat before going on the diet like fast food and sugars. I mean that even if you go back to eating healthy, for example, consuming fat-free/low-fat dairy or whole grains or fruit, you will gain weight immediately.

Eventually you do introduce all those foods back in but in very limited amounts and only after a long, long time, depending on how much you have to lose. Plus there's all that stuff about making sure you are under the amount of carbs you need per day, etc. If you have the discipline and patience for it, go for it. If not, you're better off working out and consuming healthy low fat and low sugar food.

South beach is definitely a lot better. It doesn't focus too much on fat and carbs and follows the glycemic index food list. I would suggest that you try South Beach instead. :)

Ok I lost bout 20 lbs bout 3 years ago on Weight Watchers it's a real effective way to loose weight. But I think if you truly want keep your weight there is no secret diet. You should just follow the usda guidelines you can check out http://mypyramid.com and exercise whenever you can. I have found that is the best diet. Good Luck.

The best diet to follow is always to eat a balanced meal each meal.. and keep the fats and carbs low.. stay away from sodas as they are empty.

Drink plenty of water. See your doctor if your over weight, don't follow fads. Talk to an adult if your a teen, or young adult.

To much pressure is out there to make people think they have to be a certain weight to look good.
Looking good, and being healthy are two different things. Health needs to come first.

Please concern yourself with health more then size.

too many people are too thin and wasting away.

don't be one. we need you.

South Beach is a much healthier food plan for you. You can also go on line for Weight Watchers. You don't say how old you are, but I hope you think carefully about your choice. Good luck.

either with exercise. that really is teh key. exercise. not being lazy and taking those stairs. if you have enough self discipline you dont need a particular diet. just eat right, breakfast, smaller portions. eat slow so you feel yourself getting satisfied and not uncomfortably full. and water and exercise will peel the you you dont want and youll find the u you do want.
