There is such a thing as atheism. I know, because I am an atheist. Not all atheists want to argue about god/s; I for one only debate the issue when other people bring it up. You do realize that your belief in something doesn't make it real, right?

Also, quit the proselytizing. I've heard what you're selling and I'm not interested.

Expand on this 'no such thing as atheism' thing. I'm intruiged. I was an atheist for some time, and I'm pretty certain it exists...

And Christianity is not the only alternative to atheism, by a long shot.

Oh oh! And if there's no such thing as atheism, why are you arguing about it? Seems like you're fighting your disbelief in God. Accept logic and reason because there are fewer contradictions.

1) We are arguing against the BELIEF in God. Using your "reasoning", anytime that you disagree with someone, then you have validated their belief. Ridiculous isn't ?
2) There most certainly is such a thing as Atheism. Atheism is not believing in the existence of God. I don't believe God exist. Therefore Atheism exist.

Good point, you see they believe that there is no such thing as God or a higher supreme Being. They have a false sense of identity because they think that there is nothing greater than they, but they are also blessed, because for them the Kingdom is waiting, because Jesus came to heal the sick and sinners, they will be given the chance at that time to believe and follow and that will be the greatest triumph and then we will all bask in God's glory together.
God bless always.

Gee....I don't hear any Atheists saying that there is no such thing as Christianity. Nor do I hear any Atheists arguing about god's existence. They just want you to stop shoving your beliefs down their throats. Have some respect.

Because, JC, so many theists are around making life hell for atheists.

I generally don't even think about the subject, UNTIL, I run up against a law or societal rule that is religiously based. In my state, we can't buy alcoholic beverages on Sunday. Though I don't drink, I do like non-alcoholic beer. Unfortunately, the law forbades that from being sold too, simply because it's called beer and the bible thumpers get their panties in a snit.

In South Carolina, only couples married by a preacher or priest are considered married. They cannot be married by a Justice of the piece or Judge (and all the previous marriages by them are now null and void) simply because of religious bigotry.

Gays and Lesbians are seriously discriminated against because of religion.

You starting to get an idea why now???

Atheists don't argue about a god. They don't believe in one.
Hello... They simply don't like being told they have to believe what you believe. So please stop. Seriously.

What do you mean there's no such thing as atheism? What a funny thing to say. Here ya go:

a·the·ist /ˈeɪθiɪst/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[ey-thee-ist] –noun a person who denies or disbelieves the existence of a supreme being or beings. [Origin: 1565–75; < Gk áthe(os) godless + -ist]

Damn good question JC! Logical and profound thoughts you have; you sound a little like Mr. Spock.
If Atheist argue and believe there is no "God", then what are they aruging about and with whom and why? Completely illogical Captian...indeed.

Logically, an an Atheist would say nothing about religion and never talk about it.

Purhaps Atheist are trying to find a different definition for what "God" is? Therefore, they have their own religion, drat, another religion....

Because they are trying to convince themselves there isn't a God. Man doesn't understand why he exist even with all the Creation Theories he still questions WHY? At the time of death,as the atheists draws on his last breath, he questions his beliefs and ask, but What if I was wrong? A person of faith doesn't ask this question because he has lost nothing in believing, he only stands to gain from what the bible promises
