Some quotes from survivors:
High School Student: "I was just sitting there praying the whole time."
Q: Were the students and teachers that died not praying too?
Homeowner: "It's just by the grace of God that we got out."
Q: Wouldn't it have been easier for God to graciously make the tornado not happen? And why didn't his grace extend to your destroyed house or your dead neighbors who didn't get out?
Homeowner: "All I could do was pray that God take care of us and he did."
Q: Is prayer a magic incantation? Were the others who didn't make it out saying their prayers wrong? And if God saved you because you prayed, does that mean He had you targeted for death and would have killed you if you hadn't prayed?

WHO ELSE WANTS GOD'S GIG?
SUPPOSEDLY EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS IS UNDER YOUR CONTROL AND HAPPENS WITH YOUR PERMISSION, BUT YOU ALWAYS GET CREDIT FOR THE GOOD, AND YOU NEVER GET THE BLAME FOR THE BAD!

Precisely as I expected, the theists are ducking the question, engaging in ad hominem, tossing red herrings. I'm not blaming any god for anything. I don't believe in gods. Weather just happens. I didn't make the quotes up. The quotes came from Christians who are telling the world that god is like a waiter who take their orders and delivers their blessings, but that what is a completely random occurrence, they died and someone else didn't, is held out as proof of God's intervention, but the deaths and destruction are not recognized and God's failure to intervene. And some of you folks blaming the devil, c'mon. Read the Book of Job for cryin' out loud. Even in your own superstition it's crystal clear that Satan acts only with Go's permission. Some people try to have it both ways. Theists are slipperier than a mud puppy.

Everything you said is right on and not one of these believers is addressing it, they are avoiding the REAL issue like a crooked politician.

Do you speak from a position of doubting God's existence based on the negative outcome of natural events, or from a position of belief in God and being frustrated with Him because of these events?

If it's the latter, then remember that we live in a fallen world. It is appointed for us once to die, and after that the judgment. All die. When some of us die young or die unexpectedly (unplanned, unscheduled), we say it's a tragedy. All death is a tragedy. If you live to be 100 it's still but a moment when compared to eternity.

If it's the former, why judge such events as evil or unjust? Concepts such as good or evil, right or wrong, justice or injustice, fair and unfair, would have no meaning if God did not exist. The very fact that you feel a sense of outrage (misdirected as it is) is evidence of an internal consciousness of God's existence within you.

You will find the answers to some of your questions in the Book of Job. It deals with issues with calamities and whether God is responsible for them.

Why do human beings play stupid? IF disobedience (Deu 30:17-19) (P), THEN dying (Q). P ? Q If we see dying (Q), does that advise God is punishing human beings for disobedience (P)? unfavorable. it fairly is a Fallacy of Reasoning called preserving the ensuing. Luk 13:2 And Jesus answering mentioned unto them, assume ye that those Galilæans have been sinners (P) especially the Galilæans, because of the fact they suffered such issues (Q)? Luk 13:3 I inform you, Nay (~P): yet, different than ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Luk 13:4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them (Q), think of ye that they have got been sinners (P) especially adult men that dwelt in Jerusalem? Luke 13:5 I inform you, Nay (~P): yet, different than ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. it fairly is why P -> Q is Logically Equivelant to ~P v Q. Evil, or calamity, can come from issues different than God. 1 Kings 19:11 however the LORD became not interior the wind 1 Kings 19:11 however the LORD became not interior the earthquake 1 Kings 19:12 however the LORD became not interior the hearth In Deuteronomy 22:8, God commanded Israel to place rails up so as that human beings do not fall off and die. WHY are human beings residing in tornado united states without perfect tornado shield?!?!?!?!?

When Adam sold us out to Satan, Satan became the God of this world. The world is under a curse because of it. God can legally only intervene in the lives of blood bought souls. Satan has rights to the rest.

I see that the other way around. Many like you use this forum to try and blame God for every misfortune. God gave us a planet and a world and everything in it, he further gave us the ability to make our own choices. NEVER did He promise he would protect us from tragedy or natural disaster. He just promises us He will help us through the tragedies and in some cases create good out of the bad. Your assertion is pretty immature.

So what you're saying, is that if you are praying at the time, you get spared?
Why would God choose somebody's babies to get crushed to death and die in agony? Good for the soul is it? Eh?
NONSENSE.

Edited to include: "Read the Book of Job"?? Sorry I haven't got time, I'm too busy, I've actually GOT a life.

What exactly are you trying to do here?

Ok several things. A prayer is a way to talk to god. He gave us that gift to talk to him and tell him our problems. Next there is no wrong way to say a prayer and it is not a magical incantation. And last god does'nt want us to die if you read genisis in the bible of the old testiment it said that we were created for everlasting life in a garden in paradice. Still dont belive me in the new testiment there is a text that said And god loved man so much that he gave his first son for us.

GOD is busy and wanted me to get on this one for him. One, either ask a question or stay off the question page. Two, Are you blaming God for something or not. Three, shut off your computer and get a life. Approved by the man upstairs!
