Microsoft Outlook Express, and Microsoft Outlook?

I was wondering, is it possible to have both on a laptop without messing it up? I heard once you have Microsoft Outlook Express, you can't go back. Is it true?

I have both on my Laptop and they are both working fine.

Yes you can have both but only one as a default. I used to use them both at the same time with 2 different email accounts.

it is possible to use both outlook express and outlook, i've been doing it for quite some time.
