hey, i am a christian and i have noticed that ppl on both sides get a little too intense. i think that many christians feel the need to defend their faith but dont always have the information they need to win a debate. Good thing that at the end of the day its not about winning an argument but finding truth....
however, i for one, having been a skeptic of some of what i saw in christianity, have faith built that has been strengthened and test by factual information.
if u wanna talk, hit me up!

Not every Christian is a Pastor. If we all knew everything then why go to church? There is always room to grow and to learn... not to mention A) usually Christians don't like being attacked and "nailed" and B) your not going to convert a Christian, and quite obviously they are not going to convert you, so why bother with a conversation that is wasted... might as well go laser tagging instead.

The real question should be, What do you gain from the conversation if you *were* to win it? You are looking to step on others, instaid of building up your own belief.
Would you feel almighty if you were to corner a christian? Woud it make you feel manly to harm one's moral, to puff up your own ego?
I think you need to find another way to convince yourself of your supposed beliefs.

Who are these "Christians" and why aren't you asking them personally since you had a debate with them already?
(If this is an indication of your debating skills, well....)

Human nature. People don't like having their beliefs questioned and invest a lot of energy in clinging to their truth.
Not just Christians, by the way, everybody does it.

You may have been communicating with 2 to 6 people.
There are over 1 billion people calling themselves 'Christian'.
Why do you start your question:
"Christians?" as if we are all painted with the same brush.

Most Christians blindly follow their faith, they don't really know what they believe or why they believe it. I have been that way for quite a while, but I am actively (but slowly) studying (on my own) to change that.
