His buddies that he initially goes out with goes home. He can't/won't. He shuts off his cell phone when he's in a bar so I can't reach him. I am very concerned. He has promised he won't do it again...but obviously, he's 52, he isn't going to change. I drink...I drink with him....what is the appeal of bars? He has cheated on the last two woman he dated after his divorce. First one, he grabbed her friend's breast when he was drinking....second one he dated for two years but was on every single site on the web...that's how I met him!

Well then it sounds like you reaped what you sowed... you are probably right and at 52 he will never change... in away your question has helped me answer one of my own questions that i just posted 2 minutes ago . he sounds very sleazy and he has no real appreciation for life , because if he did he would cherish the time he had left on this earth and do it with you his wife-to -be instead of trashy bar hoping... im sure when he's there people look down on him ... look at this sorry old man!!! why don't you pray about it and maybe you 2 should start going to church together and maybe speak with the preacher and get some marriage counseling ..or just call it off,, because if he's showing you this now it may never get better

HELLO!!!! Read what you just wrote and think someone else wrote it about them. Get rid of the idiot. There is no he can't go home. He won't go home because he's probably in someone else's bed. He doesn't need to going out for one drink because he sounds like a full blown ALKIE He's a drunk, he cheats, he goes on single sites. What more do you need beside a good swift kick in you ***! And you drink with him??? Does this mean to have him around you have to be a drunk too. If that's the case then you deserve each other. Get your act together or quit whining.

Fiance, Drinks, Bar Hops, 52 and Divorced. Do the math. I'd drink too if I were divorced and had a fiance at the age of 52. He's living out his life before he turns into a raisin. And who are you ? < His soul to lean on.

I sympathise with you but you just have to work harder. Read the bible to him if you,re a christian and don,t give up in helping him change. Be nice to him. Don,t abuse him, it will only make him hit the bottle the more. Tell someone who is closest to him to talk to him if neccessary. Show him love. Some men usually behave like this if something is bothering them, find out and good luck.

leave him because hes only causeing you problems. Broken promises are the first warning signs. You are worse for going drinking with him if he carries on like that.. Think very long and hard before you commit yourself to marrige..

Your fiance is possibly an 'alcoholic' and is also a 'serial womanizer' and I think that you need to do some 'serious thinking' before you decide to actually marry this guy, because he sounds like 'extremely bad news.'
