My best friend always stays then night at my house and always asks me to stay at his. He has also already kissed me and his best friend said that he does have feelings for me. He has already tested me to see if I had feelings for him also by telling me that he had started dating another girl and he was sorry that I led him on. His mother as well as his best friend told me that it was a test. I really do like him. Is he waiting for me to make the first move or is he just feeling his way around to see if I really care about him to avoid getting hurt again? How should I approch this?

When you meet someone at the bar or club the day before and the guy was cute, going on a date with him cant hurt because you have nothing to loose. When its friends that are involved your situation get a little tricky. It kinda sounds like you two do like eachother and are both beating around the provebial bush. I know that you would never want to jepardize your frienship but talk to him. Tell him that you cherish your friendship and would not want to loose it, but you feel that as a friend you need to let him know that you are feeling more than just friendly with him. Tell him that if he does not feel the same way that you would not feel weird still being close friends but you had to air that laundry. If you do like eachother this may be a huge relief on the stress you are feeling from it. I married my best friend and we did the same thing about testing the waters first but I dont regret a min. of it. Life now is better than ever and my love of a friend turned into even deeper love. It is obvious that you all have feelings for you each other, quit playing around and go ahead and date and see what happens.

do not do a thing, if he really likes you, let him do all the chasing. pretend this in you mind; you are both one mile apart--the more you run towards him--he has nowhere else to go but--- backwards. do you want that? so stop.
