i'm 32 and lived such cases. i believe that there is no real friendship between a guy and a girl. sooner or later each person passes through the flirtatious stage. in any case you can do the following:-stop hurting yourself with these feelings and find a romantic way to tell he the truth. face to face. no emails etc!! if it doenst work stop losing your time with her, stop being such close friends and find a real gf. this thing will eventually throw her to your arms if the romantic way didnt work (especially if she is also almost 30). but in any case move on cos time flies.

well seeing that your 29 years old you shouldnt realy be shy especially if you have had a previous love relationship with this girl. Talk to her about it one on one. or maybe make a sweet romantic dinner just for two with dessert and a movie set aside. Then she would get the picture. Trust me that with roses you'd win her heart over and over again. Or just put a tux on and take her to her favorite place and be romantic there. Its ok to be shy about it everyone is. Just go for it. And if it doesnt work I hope and wish that the two of you still have your friendship. Good Luck!

well just sort of drop some hints. if a few months pass and she doesn't pick up on it then just tell her you love her.

I would tell her what you feel by email, that way if she doesn't feel the same way you won't get as hurt.
