I just watched "Osama." A true story about a little girl in Afghanistan (her name was Osama) and the horrible life it is over there for women because of Islam.

The Taliban's job is to bring people back to living according to the Koran.

Why is it that all religions that have a book from God have people that believe it literally and people who kinda believe their book? If it is really from God, shouldn't it be taken word for word?

And when it is, why does it always lead to war and killing with those who disagree?

The followers often do, the leaders obviously do not.
It tends to be that way with most faith-based organizations such as religions and political parties.

The Talaban is one of the major forces currently trying to subvert and despoil Islam for the selfish ends of its leafership. They are evil.

I watched it too myself. The Taliban are very boastful and ignorant. They do undertake quite a few controversial practises from the Koran, and confident as that youthful boy stated, he stated that girls people could desire to placed on a burka to conceal themselves thoroughly and that Pakistan are no longer doing in accordance to the Koran precise. He additionally stated women persons are no longer ment to 'wander around places'. He reported that his allah god will ask him on the day of judgment why he commited suicide and blew harmless people up; and that he could relpy ''it replaced into for you allah''. i discover this appalling. does not remember what faith it rather is. The Taliban are scuffling with the Pakistan military because of the fact they do no longer basically like the fact tha Pakistan is coaching a non violent u . s . with the united statesassisting them out. i discover it stressful while people over use this fact ''Islam is the religion of peace' of which they can't instruct thinking islamic terror began in the process the eighty's and remains occurring now. different countries have solved their subject concerns by talk why cant others i ask your self. greater persons are killed by skill of Islamists each and according to annum than in all 350 years of the Spanish Inquisition blended.

This did not happen when the Prophet had brought the religion.

People had found real wisdom when Islam came around, because Islam supports the seeking of knowledge in all forms, thus education is a must for everyone.

But the Taliban have lost a lot of their humanity with all those years of fighting the Russians.

And then they discovered opium and then lost what little mind they had left.

The Taliban (Arabic for students, talib = student) are a radical group of "Muslims". They are a very dangerous sect. They interpret the Qur'an in such a manner to justify killing anyone who disagrees with them.

Muslims in general, should not be compared to the Taliban. Most Muslims are peaceful and tolerant. I am speaking from my own experience. Virtually all the Muslims I have known have been nice to me.

In every group, you are going to find criminals, trouble makers, and just plain nasty people. That doesn't make the entire group bad.

it should be taken word by word...
it suppose to...
taliban believe in KOran(Al-Quran) but sometimes, they make mistakes....nobody is perfect....

book from God like KOran does not lead the reader or the people who believe it to war,but it asks them to protect the religion...don't let people make fun of their religion...

The Taliban twists the words of the Qur'an to their own liking.

They don't follow it. You will find the majority of the people to be illiterate.

Trust me, they do not follow the Quran.
Stoning is Pagan. You can not force a women to do anything.
You have to provide for the poor. They are not following the word of God.

I think most religions and branches of religions just creatively interpret works of fiction (the Bible, Qur'ān, etc) to their own benefit.

Few take them literally, because literal doesn't give enough scope for warping it for their own benefit.

It appears to me, that their leaders are many non believing individual cults run by Satan.
Obviously the people have no control over their leaders.
