If this person has crossed the line more than once
in this friendship, then yes you should let go.
Just because you are nice does not make you best friend material.
There have to be many other qualities that quantitfy a good friendship.
If you are uncomfortable around him and his behaviour then you have your answer.
You like him but not his behaviour.
If he needs to know why, tell him straight up... maybe he needs to know others perception of his behaviour.
He might change and he might not....
You can't be babysitting friends, you have younger siblings for that....
There should be mutual respect and dignity along with other qualities....
I hear what you are saying.... I would have told him straight out... and dealt with it the first time it happened.
Tell him......be honest.. you have nothing to lose.

i dont see how being bold is a bad quality. But if it bothers you then yeah let them go.
