I am taking Omega-3 fish oil softgels (1000 mg) once a day.
The suggested use on the bottle says to take one or two softgels two times daily, so that could be a total of 4 softgels daily.
Do you think that the one softgel I am taking daily is enough?
Thanks.

It depends on the purpose you want to accomplish.

If it is your general health preservation take 3 caps per day. If it is for a specific purpose like to lower triglycerides, start with 6 caps per day and taste your blood after a moth. Adjust accordingly.

Omega 3 is an ESSENTIAL fat, which means that if you don’t take proper amounts you get sick(high blood pressure, bad moods, depression etc).

You get less mercury contamination if you take capsules that if you eat high omega 3 fish.

You must take two caps two times a day with meals for any effect.,a better idea would be to eat two four ounce servings of broiled salmon each week and you would get more omega3 than from all softgels combined.
Good health and good luck.
