I am frustrated with god at the moment...any suggestions?

My mother always used to tell me it was silly to get frustrated over nothing.

Well, I have been goin thru alot of stuff too, i mean alot! but you might feel like hope and faith is leaving but it isnt! God is there for u and just keep fightin the good fight. He has something in store for u the devil doesnt want you to have so that is why ur being battled so much. Just try to improve urself gradually not dramatically. Ask God to help you and give you peace of mind..I'll pray that he helps you and lets his peace and love flow over you and that you have an awesome day..hope i helped! God Bless!!

I'll bet God is frustrated with you, too. How long has it been since you went to church? How long since you've read your Bible? You can't find satisfaction in trying to change yourself because only God can change you. I felt just like you are feeling and called out to God to help me if He was real. He sent someone to lead me to ask Him to come into my life and take it over. I needed Him to direct my life. You can do that on your own but you have to really mean it and then you tell people who will make you stand accountable for what you do. It's such a simple plan but everyone makes it so hard. I'll be praying for you to find what you need like I did.

My friend, I feel we are in the same boat!!! The past year has been a nightmare for myself and family and it seems like there's no light at the end of the tunnel. If you study the scriptures of Jesus and his disciples, you'll find that they had it WAY worse than us! God puts us thru things to learn and even tho' we feel as tho' we can't possibly go any lower, He'll throw another downfall to push us to rock bottom. As a parent, I can see how and why He does certain things. He lets us go off on our own and make our own choices b/c we need to deal w/ whatever consequences are attached. Maybe He's testing you to think through situations and make conscious decisions that would help you reach the goals you and He both have in store for you. He wants to know that no matter how rough life may be for you, you will NOT turn your back on Him and you will still love Him no matter what. Think about your parents/guardians and even tho' they may royally pi$$ you off, you still love them deep down b/c they're your family and family's meant to stick together thru thick and thin. God is only your guide thru life, much like your parents. He cannot make choices for you, but you need to have trust in Him as well as yourself to have the correct path shown to you. It's up to you to walk down it. Have faith!!!

I am not going to quote you scripture
but I know for sure that when I let go and let God handle things chaos goes away
His timeline is the Key not mine
sorry you are having such a tough time
Journal all the great things that have happened in your life
You would be amazed really at how great life really is

God hasn't promised anyone that life here would be easy. Even Christ life was not easy. Christ instructed us to take up our cross. this meant for us to take the part of life that was hard and learn from it. If you believe in Christ dont quit following him and dont give up. Pray for help and strength you will find it. You will come to the end of these rough times and when you are aware that they are over rejoice in the Lord that he has brought you through it.

"improve myself and nothing changes" - I don't know what "areas" you are trying to improve, but one of the best cures I've found for frustration when things aren't changing is to forget about myself and get involved with what God is involved in. Get out there and contribute in a meaningful way to someone else. When you shift your focus from yourself to God, you will find that things simply go better. He uses our "outreach" to be the method of changing those areas within us that we cannot change ourselves. Our 'outreach' becomes His 'in-reach' to us. And don't forget the atmosphere of worship - there is nothing like close intimate worship to uplift the spirit. God bless as you live for HIM.

There is an old hymn that says Life is easy when your up on the mountain.......and you have peace of mind like you've never had....but then things change and your down in the valley thats when Faith is really put to the test."

That song speaks truth. LIfe is easy when things are going good and we don't have any problems......but how often when things are going good for us do we stop and ever say "Thank you Lord for you blessings" We are so blessed especially in this country. If we are hungry we have food to eat, When we are sleepy we have a warm bed to sleep in, and we always have clothes on our backs." God is worhty of praise for that. When things are going good we to often leave God out of our life...maybe not intential, but it happens. We forget to thank him, or we forget because we are so busy with things in life. When thing go bad and/or we have troubles of life and things don't always seem to go our way thats when we call on God for help and we need him then and he always is there for us. ALWAYS! Even when things don't go our way or we don't get what we want out of life God hears and answers our prayers. He is a just God and fair in all things even though it don't seem that way maybe to you....he is making plans for your best interest. I have lost a job before and couldn't not figure out why...why why.......I needed that job and the company downsized and I was cut off and had to step down into a lower level job for a long time....however I realized had I stayed there I would have jepordized getting to meet a lady that led me to a far-better job overall, better hours and money......and I wouldn't have never met her had I not lost that original job to begin with. God worked it out in his own time for my best interest. I have a friend that was a smoker and smoked heavily and his mom had a heartattack and it looked bad for her that she might die.....well he told God if he would spare her for a little while longer on the earth he would quit smoking right then and there and not pick another one up as long as she lived. Well she got worse the next day and worse..and he stuck to his promise of not smoking and shortly thereafter he said "God I promise you I won't be a smoker if you will help her...I will keep my bargain and she started getting better and better and shes perfectly fine now. God works in his own time and for your benefit somehow my friend. He said in the bible he had plans to prosper you and not plans to harm you......remember that. Keep your head up and praise God through tribulation he will come by when things seem there darkest and he will help you and all he will require back out of you is praise for all his help.

Love in Christ!

Right now God's ear is closer to you than normal... Talk to him tell him how you feel. It's OK he understands, and wants to help but sometimes the help we ask for doesn't come exactly like we wiished for. God has his own way and his own time... He's willing to stepback for a while and let you * pout* but when you're ready he'll be there with open arms, just as a good father would.
Remember to : LET GO,...and LET GOD
