So i am really depressed and stuff and my ex keeps asking me if there is anything at all he can do to help me and i told him not that i know of but he told me if i need anything just to tell him and he will help me out in any way possible. I broke up with him but i kinda want him back-- does he still care and like me or is he just being nice?

You need to sit down and ask yourself WHY you chose to break up with him*
Yes, sounds like he still cares...and has said many times to you "If you need anything just let him know and he'll be there for you to help" and sounds like he 's a super nice guy*
Once you figure out WHY you dumped him then perhaps figure out if it's worth it to give it another go* Only YOU can decide if you want that or not. Or..youc an call him and say you need to talk with him...and tell him how depressed you are and what has been going on in your life to make you feel this way. I'm sure he would love to be there to help you sort through this.

well, don't get confused. You two had a relationship, so of course he cares, but at the same time, just because someone has heart for you doesn't mean that you were meant to be together. It takes alot to make a relationship work, not only caring and loving a person but accepting them for who they really are. Like when noone is around and you are all alone, or when everyone is around and you are surrounded by people. What are his morals, values, wants and goals in life? Do you have that in common? if not, then, try to understand that your relationship may be rocky, because you will have a lot to accept. Also remember that he is the same person regardless of what is going on, as you broke up with so i don't know what it was that broke you up, but it could break you up again.(possibly) anyway, good luck.

That really depends. Im going through the same situation. She broke up with me. I got anouther friend who is interested and now my ex wants me back. For me im just being nice. I told her the exact same thing. I think though soon i will have to back off alittle bit or she will never get over me. I dont want her back because of bad history even though i still have feelings. Its just not meant to be. But now she regrets breaking up with me. I guess you live and you learn from your mistakes. Its hard for me to keep telling her that i just want to stay friends but i know its the right thing to do. Your going to have to talk to him and find out how he feels.
