My boyfriend and I are going away on vacation in May but by then it would be almost 9 months since we had sex. This is the longest amount of time that both of us lasted without anything (not even forplay). There was a time we did broke up and then got back together but I wanted to build back to where we were but that would also mean no sex until we're on vacation. Before this "dry spell", we would have sex almost all the time.
For anyone who went through months of "dry spells", how did it felt (either for a guy or a girl) when you finally have sex after a long time? Also, do you think it's a good idea that I've been holding off sex for this long? I do feel empowered but I do feel bad for him because he must be having "blue balls".

He and I have been dating for over 3 years (that includes the 3 1/2 months we broken up... even with the break-up, we've remain very close friends)

if you guys care for each other then i see no problem in having sex with him. i mean you haven't had sex in 9 months yea, but at least that gives you time to explore and do things you haven't done in a while. everything will be amazing, i'm sure.. :) just work up those sexy moves. ;)

I had a dry spell for like 1 1/2 years and it wasnt too bad after the first month or so. But then I just smoked lots of pot and beat off a lot. but when i did have sex it was good, but i came right away... so dont be judgemental.

well i honestly think taht a dry spell is a good thing because it lets all the sexula tensipn build and then whrn you do have sex it is great
