Priests (Reverends) are ordained dedicated to God. The serve God by serving man. What they wear is really unimportant.

Personally, I prefer black shirt with a Roman collar (I find the Anglican collar cumbersome) for ceremonies. The clerical robes are for the people I server (baptism, penitence, weddings, and funerals). Within the hall of a monastery, I prefer a cassock, preferably black.) Do I care that the style of clerical robes come from Catholicism, no. I could perform the ritual naked if you like since that is the wardrobe God gave us.

Its not of Catholicism...its of the Liturgical Calender, which many mainline Christian faiths follow. Different seasons of the year have different colors and patterns on vestments.

Its just my opinion, but its better than wearing black all the time.

Actually - they are hot, uncomfortable, too many layers for a "solemn high Mass" in the summer....and "enjoy" is not a word I'd use.

And they are called "vestments" - not an "ensemble".
