My goal is go to UC Berkeley. I want to get into Mass Media and Communications.
I am a Sophmore in high school. Other than good grades and adv./AP classes what should I foucus on doing so I achive my goal??

Since you know what your intended major is, you should become involved with extracurricular activities in those areas (school newspaper/radio, etc.). Focus your energy on becoming a leader in one area and dabble in others. Keep in mind that Berkeley is socially-conscious and political by nature, so involvements with freedom of speech/press would also be a good way to go.

I think colleges these days like to see applicants who were involved in a variety of extra-curricular activities. If you like Mass Media, join your high school newspaper or something like that. You'll also make friends that way.

I went to UCB (long ago). It is a good school.
