First of all, if you think she is lying, she probably is, girls are pretty scandalous these days.
To prove your instincts, you need to set her up.
I have no idea what it is that you think she might be lying about, but I have an idea... don't ask.
I would have a buddy of yours just happen to be at the same place you know she will be at one night (it can be a guy she doesn't know, or a good lookin' buddy she does know).
Have the guy start flirting with her... telling her she looks good, asking her for her number.. if he knows her, tell him to say things like you should be dating me instead of that guy... and stuff like that. See what she does...
When you hang out with her the next time, tell her that your buddy said he met some hott girl at whatever place it was that they hung out at, let her know what he said she looked like, then say, weren't you there that night, he almost sounded like he was describing you....
You will know by the reaction on her face if she is going to tell you the truth, or lie and then straight up ask her about all the sh!t you have been having thoughts about!!!!!!

Either accept what she's telling you..or if you have doubts..try talking with someone that knows her well and knows whatever it is you're assuming she's lying about.
If you confront this girl..and she tells you "her story" , and then you go investigating to find out if she's lied..you'll have one less friend* Until you catch her in a lie..not much you can do * or just stay away from her if you feel she's lying to you*

That is the $64,000 question. Why don't you just ask her to tell the truth. Unless you have a witness, then there is no way to find out.

just make sure you dont attack her with the question. make sure you become soft with her, and she shouldnt have anything to woory about .the worst thing would be not to tell her. because then she could feel like your hiding from her, and theres just too much confusion after that. have confidence and still try to stay calm and positive.<3

try to remember everything she says. if she really is lying, chances are she'll eventually say something that contradicts something else she said before. and then you can catch hher by saying, "wait, i thought you said that blah blah blah" see what i mean? good luck.
