i met a guy on vacation and had been hooking up with him for about a week. they threw a party a few days before they were supposed to leave. the guy i was hooking up with got really drunk that night and so did i. while i was somewhere else, my good friend who was completly sober decided to make out with him. i feel upset because she is my friend and should be sensitive to my feelings. what has me most angry though is the fact that she was sober and he was not. it feels like she took advantage of him. do i have the right to be angry at her because the boy and i were not together we just had a "thing"?

Yes, you should be mad at her. She sounds like a slut; throwing herself at anyone. Has she just got out of prison? Unfortunately many people go on holiday and behave like a filthy animal. It's scary that these people come back from holiday with all sorts of diseases.

I think you should not stress about the little things like this, people stress SO much now a days over things that are really in reality not that big of a deal. first off if this guy you were hooking up with cared or wanted anything to do with you seriously then he would not have done what he did. as far as your friend so is a B!!!H and i think you should think twice the next time you bring any man around her. trust me its happened to me before in the past, i had a boyfriend for 3 years, come to find out my best friend was sleeping with him for 2 of the three years together. yea it hurt but she took enough away already from me why let her take anymore? let me know if this helps

Yes you have the right to be angry & you should dump this so called friend because she is anything but a true friend.
It doesn't matter whether you were just a one night fling or a relationship, at the very least she should have waited a while before making a move on him and to be quite honest he should have told her the same.
You're better off without either of them, being drunk is no excuse for this sort of thing.

If she didnt talk to you about it first thats just rude selfish behavior. I would be mad. Granted it was just a fling so it may not be worth ending the freindship over but i think you may have just learned a valuable lesson about what kind of friend she is...perhaps shes not as good a friend as you thought. I mean hey...i am sure there were other guys at that party she could have hooked up with but she had to choose the one guy you were hooking up with...thats just shady.

Don't get mad. You were on vacation. People hook up on vacations. Your friend was just trying to get some, too. Guys have a saying... "bros before hos." Keep that in mind. Friends are valuable. This incident isn't worth ruining a friendship.

Honestly I don't think you are looking at this situation maturely. He is on vacation which means that you knew up front that once he left that you probably would never hear from him. Your friend is/was doing the same thing you were...using the poor boy. So, no I don't think you should be mad at her. I think you should swap stories. She will always be your friend and he you will never see again.

If he did that... He doesnt care about you enough and just wanted to get "some" before he left. Didnt care from who. Sounds like your friend is horny too. It happens when your in your teens or early 20's or when your drunk... So if you were both, its no stopping it from happening. Basically in the future when you like someone, you gotta tell your friends who is off limits. They should listen. If they break that agreement, then you have the right to never be their friend again. And you wont feel confused in making that decision.

HELL YES, be mad, Who needs friends like that. Although I don't believe anyone took advantage of the other. Even though you weren't dating the guy, he was your 'man' for the time being. And if she does this now, what will she do with a boyfriend, fiance, husband??? HUM...

I can't say that i wouldn't get a little pissed...sneaky bish ;-p but at the same time I would try to let go of that feeling as soon as I felt it because ultimately, you've got no leash on him, you've had your fun... just look at her making out with him as a good seqway into your *next* fling.

Or continue playing with him until that next fling comes long, but that's why their called flings...they are disposable.

Yes, you should be especially if she knew about your "thing" you had with him, she betrayed you even though it wasn't a serious relationship you were in. Doesn't sound like that good of a friend to me, but people do make mistakes and if she doesn't usually do this type of thing then I would forgive her after she apologizes.
