I have a West Highland Terrier also known as a westie. He loves children and has abundant energy so they play and makes them all ready to take a nap. LOL He is under 10 lbs. He is white and cute like a stuffed animal. Good luck with your choice

There are sooo many breeds....Depends on if you are going to have it around children or not... If you have children Pugs, Pekingese and Pomeranian , and Dachshund . I would not get a chihuahua unless the kids are super careful, cause they are timid animals.Do you want a hyper dog, , a calm dog, there is all personalities too. I would research breeds online, to see what typical adult weight is, as well as personality...hope this helps

I have a Bichon Frise they are good dogs and great with kids. I would do some research first hope that helped.

Pugs, they are wonderful with children. I just got one for my kids for Christmas and they adore him.

Australian Terrier. Hands down. They don't shed, are very lovable, and love to play.
