well, i wanna use some tanning lotion and i see in the instructions saying that it's best to exfoliate ur skin first before applying the tanning lotion. Could anyone plase show me exactly what I can do to exfoliate my skin properly and get best results. Actually i'm gonna use L'oreal Sublime Glow Daily Moisturizer. Anyone has any suggestion on this product? Is it okay or is it gonna leave u orange like a fake pumpkin? Thank you very much!!!!

Exfoliate is just the technical term for scrubbing your skin really good. It really means to remove the dead skin, and thoroughly cleanse the skin tissue.

You can do this with a poof, luffa, etc.... Something that will scrub your skin. Thats all.

I am not going to say yey or ney on the tanning lotion because I have this thing about placing chemicals onto and into my skin that enhance my melatonin principles BUT to exfoliate naturally, I suggest this recipe.

Mix equal parts of oatmeal and almonds (skin on, brown not white blanched useless for this procedure, need the brown skin) in a food processor, ground very fine and then add honey and either cocoa butter or shea butter. Rub it into your skin gently pulling the dead skin cells from the new ones underneath. Rinse with lukewarm water as hot can scald the already fresh raw skin underneath. DO NOT USE POWDER after this as it will undo what you just did !

sharing the light,
Erica

Go to the health food or vitamin store and get an all natural exfoliant. Then, combine it w/ warm water and rub gently into the skin got 40 seconds. It's pretty easy and your skin will be much smoother.

You could use a product made by Mary Kay called TimeWise 3-in-1 Cleansing Bar. TimeWise cleansing products combine anti-aging with three essential functions in one product to cleanse, exfoliate and freshens. It sells for $18.00. It's great stuff. I don't know about the tanning product you plan on using but Mary Kay makes a tanning product also. You can find out move information by going to the Mary Kay website.

Not sure about the tanning lotion but you can exfoliate your skin by adding some sugar to your usual cleanser. The exfoliator will rub off the dead skin and leave it looking soft and glowy.
