I really do not have a favorite breed in a sense; they are all my favorite. :-) I favor the Sporting group, only because I enjoy their energy level. I can love a Yorky as much as a could love a Pit Bull. At this time we have two dogs, but in the coming year we hope to buy a house on a LARGE lot and increase are "family" or even become a shelter for wayward dogs. Our ESS is a 11 month old named "Nocioni" and our Chow/Lab is an 8 year old named "Zoe" we love the joy they bring us each and every day.

My Favorite breed is Labrador of any kind...I have had alot of dogs too but I find that The Labrador is the smartest and most trust worthy dog. I have two Black labs named Sable and Riley. Sable is very protective of my kids for example when my kids go near the road she will go with them and circle them just so nothing will happen to them. Riley is a huge dog but he's such a baby and very smart.I once had a German Shepperd cross rottweiler and that dog was weird..I trained it just like I trained my labs but one day that dog just went nuts and bit my nephew in the forehead..I have only heard nothing but bad come from rot ti's. I don't beat my dogs and I don't treat them bad at all so I really don't see why he went nuts. My dogs are spoiled too...for dinner they get cooked liver every night lol...call me crazy but I'm a huge huge dog lover

I love MUTTS. Actually I love all DOGS! I have a large Australian Shepherd / Lab mix with the sweetest brown eyes you've ever seen and yes he is spoiled rotten!
Just a warning to everyone answering these types of questions... never give the name of your pet, especially if you ever use that name as a password somewhere. Gosh I sound paranoid!!!

My favourite breed is the Irish Wolfhound, without a doubt!! I just got one the other day (last week actually, now). They are friendly, alert, obedient, loyal, and cute as h**l!! They don't take much exercise or need as much attention as most other breeds, and the size of them alone is enough to deter most individuals from doing anything they know they shouldn't be doing in my home!! We have named our dog "Duco", which is Latin for commander.

I love French Mastiffs (like Hooch, from Turner & Hooch). They are extremely loyal dogs and will fiercely defend their owners. But at the same time, they are extremely low key and very good with people provided they don't feel threatened.
And they're cute.
My dog's name is Cider, but she's not a French mastiff.

I love the American Pit Bull Terrier. I love them because they are sooo friendly, loving, and loyal. They can play rough when you play outside, and they relax with you when it is time to watch a movie. I have always loved pit bulls, and I Finally was able to adopt one about a week ago. She is a 1 year old black and white spayed female. Her name is Cadence, she is the perfect dog for me. I am so glad I got a pit bull. She loves EVERYONE, and she even loves my cats. Infact, she is sleeping next to my cats on the couch right now.
