A single girl might get lucky but a single guy will only get lucky

Technically, the definition of swinging is "when a married or otherwise committed couple engages in sex with other couples or singles." So to technically be a "swinger" you have to be a couple. But I feel any single that on a regular basis engages in sexual play with couples is also considered a swinger.

Is it allot of work? For a single guy it is. And here's why. There are a ton of them out there, and most are just lecherous. A quick scan of a swingers site reveals that the ratio of single men looking for couples to couples looking for single men is 1.2:1, so there are 120 "single" men for every 100 couples that want to play with one. So, he has to be pretty exceptional to stand-out from the crowd. And I don't mean in the equipment department. I mean as a person. Every guy has "the equipment", it's what's attached to that determines if a couple will want to play with him. Basically, it's like dating, except you are dating a couple rather than just a single woman.

I also put " " marks around "single" because man of the supposedly single men are actually married men looking to cheat and thinking that getting with swingers will be easier then finding someone elsewhere. Well, they also get shot down because swinging is not about cheating and most all swingers will not help a married man or woman cheat on their spouse. And after a while you get good at identifying the fakes.

So if you're a single guy just trying to get some, you'll have allot better chances through the normal social outlets.

If you have a fantasy you want to fulfill while helping a couple fulfill theirs, then you may try getting into the swinging lifestyle.

I hope that helps.

I *too* used to be a serial monogomist like you, believing that you had to have a relationship to get some regular booty.

It's a perception and a confidence game. Be honest and direct in your intentions and seek it out. It's not hard, but if you've been playing the "i'm a great guy and should be your boyfriend" game for so long it's a ltitle bit of culture shock to approach the same girl as "I am fun and think we should have some fun tonight" guy.

But no, I think the find a girlfriend before you have sex mentality to (now) be way too much trouble for far too little pleasure. you have to give it a try dude...

Swinging is for men, women, and couples. There are several clubs out ther that will allow single men in. A lot of the people involved in the swinging lifestyle are interested in fufilling fantasies and/or fetishes. May it be three-somes, more-somes, gang bangs, cuckolding, wife swaping, etc. There are several places that you can put your info to be contacted for such encounters.

swinging is for couples, usually most if not all women can get lucky very easily, men not so easy. Sometimes a couple is looking for a 3rd, but again usually its a female (2nd female) not usually a 2nd guy! Lol, can't believe I'm answering this one!
