Considering that fact that you aren't married, it shouldn't be an issue, at this point in your physical relationship. But, as an issue, should you decide to get married, it is very important. Dating today is much tougher that it was, even in my day, some thirty years ago. People today, spend money they don't have, to maintain a level of excitement they can't maintain, pretending to be people they are not. When they get settled in, they find, that in general, people are rather average. But, children can bring a lot to a relationship. Good and Bad. Being a father of seven, and, a counselor for over twenty five years, I have counseled many families with problems baring children. First of all, if your boyfriend hasn't sought medical help, he should. There are many medical complications that lead to sterility, that are reversible. And, I have known a few instances where conception was accomplished, with very low sperm counts. It only takes one! And there are a wide variety of procedures that can help, if and when you decide that you do want children, that have varied degrees of success. Sadly, I have also know men who have claimed to be infertile, just so that the girlfriend will feel less inclined to refuse to have sex with them. Some, found out he was a deceptive, via a home pregnancy test.
Whatever the situation is, see a physician that specializes in fertility issues, and know what the risks and options are, that are available to both of you. I do however, suggest that you wait until marriage, before having sex. I have also found that the vast majority of couples who say, it doesn't really matter, before they get married, find that it really does, when they begin to want to start a family. Don't kid yourselves, the dynamics of the situation chance as your relationship changes. Remember, what started one night, may be living with you for a lifetime.
Good luck, and God Bless!

Depends on how big is the gun????
He's your BF OK ,,,, If he was your HUSBAND and you wanted kids then see a doctor either fix the problem or adopt..... simple
As a BF I think (if he's telling you the truth) it would be a plus not worrying about unwanted kids. But if he's just not wanting to use raincoats. your the single mom who gets to raise the kid ...... be careful getting Preg is a LIFE LONG COMMITMENT.

As long as he can get me off when I need him to, it doesn't matter. Hell, I would welcome sterility. The last thing I need is a child.
