i live in nashville, i met her in puerto rico while i was playing basketball 1 year ago, and she left her job and moved back to tennessee for me while i was at work she found a txt message to another girl that said "i miss u" and another that said "why wont u kiss me" but it was just a joke to the girl and i wasnt serious and she didnt believe me, and thought i was cheating and bought a ticket and went to her sisters house in Orlando. We have been together for a year, this is the FIRST fight we have ever had..She said she was never coming back and could never trust me again. She left some things in my house, but said that she wanted me to "mail" them to her. this is the second time she found a message like this, I have never cheated on her...im am just a flirt. I am lost without her, how do i get her back? I now know i was wrong and am finished with flirting. I am thinking about giving her about 10 days and driving there and saying im sorry. Is that a good idea? what should i do?

I think you should tell her what you just told the readers. Secondly, stop flirting, look where that got you. If she left some things, maybe she did it so she would have a reason to come back, but if not you are on the right track. Contact her and tell her you are willing to let her cool off a bit and that you will wait until she feels a little less angry to talk it out. Meanwhile, send her something nice with a sincere apology. AND STOP FLIRTING!

yeah do apologize, tel her that you were in the wrong and are done talking to that girl. it was all just an honest mistake and if that is the first fight that you have gotten into that is great!!! always tell them that your sorry, but do not make her feel bad for leaving you because she has probably been done wrong in the past, and she needs to get over that and only you can help her with that.She has trusting issues, and that is understandable, just ask her to have a heart to heart and ask her to just listen and tell her that you will listen to her with no interruptions.and that you will let her decide but once she makes her decision take it like a man and take it as a sign to move on and don't feel bad because you did your best to make things better. just take it as a lesson to stop being a flirt, and open yourself to other girls. good luck.and keep your head up it will only get better.

well you should try to give her time for herself, then you should at least call her out and explain to her what has happen and tell her that it was all a joke and in a way she could understand then try to buy some flowers and something sweet such as dinner or go on a date. ecpalin to her one by one and just try to say that the girl was one of your friend or your working colic maybe in that way she can trust you back and also promise her that you will never do this again. also try to make her happy by calling her or ask for a out and also make her feel romantic

It was disrespectful to your relationship with her to be "joking" about kissing another girl. She has every right to be upset. I understand you didn't cheat, but think of how it makes her feel that you open yourself up to another person with talk of kissing.
Definitely apologize--and I would recommend modifying your flirting ways. It's ok to flirt if you are single, but will cause problems if you are in a relationship.

Give her 10 days to cool down, drive there and apologise. Tell her you want her to come back and that you'll never do it again. And you won't right? cos it's the one way to earn back her trust.
