What are your experiences, I have kidney problems and frequently need RX's and I have a 2 yr old, she gets colds and minor fevers infrequently. Which is best?

Kaiser is a great HMO, I really like them, but the lines do get extremely long.

HMO's Sucks. Kaiser has a lot of problems, but because you have an illness that require routine treatment, I would go with Kaiser. It is the cheapest solution. Kaiser is a bureaucratic mess, but as soon as you find a way to get them to do something its smooth sailing. The other HMO's isn't that predictable, and might put you in an endless loop in search of care.

I wouldn't pick Kaiser because the nearest hospital is too far from us. My husband has life threatening asthma and we need a closer hospital.

i have kaiser and love them. they safed my life twice now.
