Good question. I think alot of people have been in your position. The simple answer is: No. You can not have another baptism. Once is all you need and can have. Think of your baptism as a part and parcel of your spiritual growth and journey. Along the lines of.."if I wasn't baptized I would not have grown as I have", which is actually the truth. What your seeking is a way of giving thanksgiving to God for the development He has allowed you for your soul. I would suggest you offer that thanksgiving to Him for indeed He deserves all the glory! and you in your seeking of Him and being humble realize that. How precious that is!
Blessings

Ok well since I am not sure how you look at it, I think I should start with what I believe the bible says about baptism. Baptism is an external way of showing you have repented of your sins and have accepted Christ as your savior. That you are going to live your life differently and work to follow Christ. Christ was baptized and then began His ministry. It has nothing to do with salvation or washing away sin.
Biblically I don't know of anyone who is baptized twice, but that is not to say that you could not be. I guess you just need to examine yourself. Here is the thing that would make me think that you are ok. You said you grew spiritually after you were baptized and now feel like you have a better understanding. This is not (to me) something that indicates a need for baptism, it is just normal growth and maturity in Christ. 5 years from now you will feel an even greater sense of understanding and awe that you have been forgiven and an even better appreciation and understanding of what you can do to be a good follower of Christ. It does not mean you are not doing what you should now.
To me a good reason to be rebaptized would be if you had been saved and fell away from the church for a long time. You would become baptized showing you are going to get back on track and live for Christ. If that is not where you are then, I personally do not see a reason, but I would encourage you to speak to a pastor or decon in your church and obtain their advice.
I wish you all the best and hope I helped.

If you believe that you can and should get baptized a second time, talk to your pastor about this, and if you belong to a church that supports this theology, it shouldn't be a problem.
I don't know if I completely support Father K's position, but from his post I do agree with what he said. Baptism is a marking of God's property, the rite does not belong to you, otherwise it would be works-oriented religion.
You might wish to consider a profession of faith or a testimony instead, I think it would be a nice addition to a worship service. Again, talk to your pastor about it. Have you considered a song/hymn expressing your faith during the offering perhaps? Just an idea.

First, there are two baptism: Baptism of water and baptism of the holy spirit. Mk 1:8 You are talking about baptism of water.
There is nothing biblical that prevents you from being baptize as many times as you like. You can go through the ritual over and over again. If you "fully understand what it involves and what needs to be done [ritually]", you would know that a second baptism would be unnecessary.

Opinions...oh my. My church recommends infant baptism and they use sprinkling as symbolic of being cleansed by the spirit (its really your choice or your parents). As such, you can only be baptized once by the spirit.
BUT
I believe that believer baptism is a better option and that to have a real sense of spiritual cleansing, immersion is a better option.
Some churches will "re-Baptize" and some will not. This is an issue that your pastor must speak to.

Being baptized by immersion isn't necessary for salvation; however, it is a symbolic representation of what happens to you spiritually.
I was baptized at the age of 5, knowing what it meant to the best of my ability at that young age...when I was older, I wanted to be rebaptized b/c I fully understood what it meant.
If you want to be baptized again, I say go for it!

One to a customer. No need to do it again, because it is not a "work" of man - but a work of God. God washes away the sin when you are Baptized. It's NOT about your understanding - it's about God marking you as His own.

One of the most nagging questions in Christianity is whether or not baptism is necessary for salvation. The answer is a simple, "No." But you might ask, "If the answer is no, then why are there verses that say things like ‘. . .baptism that now saves you . . . ‘ (1 Pet. 3:21, NIV) and ‘ . . . Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins . . ." (Acts 2:38, NIV)? This is an honest question and it needs a competent answer. But, before I tackle this I need to lay a foundation of proper theology, then I'll address some of those verses that are commonly used to support the idea that baptism is necessary for salvation.
