I've come to realize that I need to humble myself a bit and I have a completely new respect for my 10 year old.

lol. I also had some trouble with some of those questions -- even the 2nd grade ones! What I don't understand with the adult contestants is why none of them, thus far, seem to have looked thru some children's books to see the type of content that they must be learning. E.D. Hirsch has authored the "What your ___ Grader Needs to Know" series that goes up to sixth grade. Granted, people have said that there are some inaccuracies in his earlier editions, many of the questions asked seem to be from books such as those. It's a fun show though :)

Nope, went in one ear and out the other I suppose. My kids get a kick out of the show though.

They are learning those things now so it's fresh in their minds.....it's amazing how much stuff we forget over the years
