There are so many people who say I would be a Christain if ....Why do they do that? Some people think that being good will get them into heaven, going to church evrytime that the doors are open, they are there warming the chairs. If sitting in a garage doesn't make you a car why do people think that sitting in a church makes them a Christian?

Many people view reality through a narrow lens of perception, due to whatever causes and conditions in their life that "defines" who they are... some people actually feel their view of religion is superior and there's no challenging that... while some attempts are born of pure altruistic motivation, others are often simply a way to get people to believe what they do, which would, in effect prop up their own sense of self and their beliefs (or so they think) by default. Whaddya gonna do? All you can do is educate where you can and realize some of them might never change.

I don't try to force Islam on anyone else and I don't expect anyone to try to force Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, etc upon me. Our Qur'an specifically forbids us from doing so:

[2.256] - There is no compulsion in religion.

Weird. They don't!

They know they'd have to change their beliefs profoundly.
