i lied to someone who then was a stranger but we've become close and i've only added onto the lie for a whole year. i've lied extensively.i'm not a bad person and i'vefound that i really wanna be with this person but itsnot possible. i dont wanna lose her but i know i'll deserve what ever happens. But what can i do?

First of all, admit that you lied. Next if anyone was hurt by your lie you need to apologize. If there is a "reason" for your lie you need to think about how you allowed yourself to be deceptive and vow not to do that again, no matter what. The truth usually never hurts as much as a lie when found out. From this point forward you need to live your life truthfully and everyone will eventually see that you have corrected your ways. Depends on the lie I guess. Geez, if you lied about already being married or not having kids or whatever, you got a problem. If you lied about where you were claiming to be then thats minor. Cheating? Then that really is up to the person to decide what to do about it.
