I saw my doctor for the same thing. She said to put 2-3 drops of rubbing alcohol in the ear....it dries up the fluid in there...just check w/your Dr before doing that

It sounds like you have swimmers ear! It probably is tender or even painful..you can try putting isopropyl alcohol on a q-tip and put that in your ear. The alcohol helps with the absorption of water. If it does not clear up in a few days you will have to go the Doctor to get a prescription for "swimmers ear. Don't let it go or you will develop an infection. You can also roll up a piece of paper towel about the size of the end of a q tip and insert that into your ear canal. You have to be careful not to hurt yourself though. This will also help absorb the water, but my main recommendation is seeing the Dr. as sticking stuff in your ears is risky unless you know when to stop! You don' want to poke your ear drum! Good Luck with your ear! Amie

This may sound crazy but it works(has been done many times on camping trips) Take a few drops of alcohol(warmed) and drop it into the ear canal and lay with affected ear up. It really works

If alcohol doesn't work, use peroxide. Just a few drops in the ear and lay on your side for 5 minutes or so. Since it's been so long, check with a doc.

i had this problem a lot and what i did was get a towel and then iron it. Later, lay down on it on the ear that the water is in. To prevent this, wear ear plugs whenever you are exposed to water.
