The most reliable and cheapest way is to hop on a city-bound Luas and go to Connolly station. From there, exit the Luas stop at street level and turn right down Amiens Street, left onto portland Row/North Circular Road (under the rail overbridge), straight through the next junction and right at Russell Street/Jones Road. The Luas trip can take anything from 15 - 25 minutes; the walk will take approx. 15-20 mins. Luas trams come every 7 mins during daytime. I would allow an hour to navigate and enjoy the sights.

For tips on using the Luas please read my website below (for example, you will arrive at the Luas stop on the correct platform side but cross over to use the machine on the other platform - all machines are the same and you'll probably skip a large queue).

this is a good link...you can walk there in about 40 mins from heuston station....

type in heuston station and select croke park from the landmark dropdown menu......

alternatively get the LUAS to Abby St (just off O'Connell St) and walk the rest of the way...it's more fun on a match day!

Get the luas tram from Heuston to connolly. From connolly get the dart out to croke park.

It's a pretty big stadium... You can't miss it.
