I was in a severl relationships that did not work and I was heartbroken thinking that I was not good enough or that I would never find anyone. Its a blow to the self esteem. The worst one for me was a long term relationship (and I was the one that called it quits) I was devistated. We were on different paths in life so there was nothing holding us togeather. He was a good person with a huge heart and loved me with everything he had but it was not enough in that case. It took me a reallllly long time to get back on the proverbial horse and try again. Unfortunatally relationships are on a trial and error basis and if only one person is in for the long haul it wont work. I am happily married now and I am sure that once your heart has healed you will find love again. Right now, you need your friends. Its ok to cry on their shoulders thats what they are there for. Be strong and dont let anyone tell you that you are not worthy of love. Best of Luck.

Everytime you break up with someone, doesn't it feel like the end of the world?

Then after a little while you meet someone new and it starts all over again.

Relationships are practice. We practice, over and over, until we finally meet the right person.

Only time. I went through a devastating break-up a few years ago, and time is really the only thing. It took me a while, but I suppose it's different for everyone.
